*N Sync out to beat BSB's record? What can we do? Sit by and watch? Let it be ripped away from them? Nope. We can do THIS... <--Click here to help!

**mtv europe has finally made a "data video" out of SMTM...this means tiny squares with facts pop up during the whole video. It's basically stuff we already know, but one thing I learned was that apparently Nick plays the role of death in his part of the video...I didn't know that. I thought the last pop up was kinda cute, it shows us the meaning of being hungry...

**Elton John launched his new official web site today eltonjohn.com and below is an excerpt from Elton's letter where he explains about the Backstreet Boys apprearing on his new album, "The Road to El Dorado".
"It was also great to have the Backstreet Boys appear on stage with me because I have gotten to know them all a little bit just recently, and not only are they great performers, but they also very hard working professionals and really nice guys. Incidentally, they also do the backing vocals on “Friends Never Say Goodbye” [not Someday Out of the Blue] from my new El Dorado album."

**On Saturday night, I think it was VH1, they were doing a wrap-up of the Grammys, and also interviewing Carlos Santana. They asked him who he thought should have won a grammy that didn't, and this was his reply: "I think that the Backstreet Boys should've taken home an award, they are a great group of guys, and I think it's great what they do."

**Backstreet Boys are expected to announce shortly dates for the UK around September to tie in with the release of their new album. The dates, when available, will appear here on OLP [online pop] before you read them anywhere else! We will post those dates once they are in. =]

**Backstreet Boys were number one today on American Top 40. Yippeee.

**I was listening to Howard Stern this morning and he started singing another version of "Backstreets Back". It wasn't about the Boys though. He talked about going to the party that the Boys held after the Grammy's. He was surprised when he found out that among others Rob Zombie, Kid Rock and Fred Durst from Limp Bizkit were there. He said that one of the Boys (he didn't say which one) told him that he liked Stern's version of a particular BSB song and offered to go on the show and sing it with him. Howard said he'd see what he could do so heads up NYC fans. Get your tape recorders ready! I have a weird feeling it was AJ...

**Boys Grammy Party Attracts Many
Things haven't slowed down - or let up - for the Backstreet Boys since their Grammy appearance last week. They hosted, with their The Firm management company, a super-chic, post-awards party at a Bel Air mansion - with 1600 invitees including a surreal mix of celebs like Howard Stern, Bijou Phillips, Melissa Joan Hart, Vince Vaughn, Kid Rock, Chevy Chase, Lacey Chabert, Mark Wahlbeg, Jamie Foxx and Lionel Richie. And how's this for a scene? At 5 a.m., Dr. Dre took to the turntable and started scratching, while Fred Durst of Limp Bizkit, Kid Rock and Eminem began freestyle rapping. With backed-up traffic outside and no TV cameras anywhere, the party was being hailed as a cool underground event when it finally broke up around 7 Thursday morning. The Backstreet Boys went on to the airport to fly to Georgia (actually they went to Florida) and pick up their tour. They are now playing stadiums, and are in Houston tonight. They hit the studio in May to start recording their next album.
